LPL Financial Recruits Former Cetera Team
LPL Financial adds River Cities Financial Services to its broker-dealer, corporate registered investment advisor, and custodial platforms.
LPL Financial LLC, the nation’s largest independent broker-dealer, has added River Cities Financial Services to its broker-dealer, corporate registered investment advisor, and custodial platforms.
The advisors serve approximately $350 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets and join from Cetera Financial Group. The team has aligned with JFC Advisor Network, a large enterprise on LPL’s platform.
With registered offices in Marietta, Beverly and Chillicothe, Ohio, River Cities started as an insurance agency in 1948 before expanding into wealth management in 1985. Manager and owner Michael Anthony is joined by founders Leslie Futrell and Rick Walters, as well as fellow financial advisors Stacey Brooks and Keith Thieman. They are assisted by a four-member office support staff.
“We are a community-oriented team and proud to serve the many small business owners, retirees and farmers in our towns…,” Anthony said. “We take a team approach to providing solutions for every stage of life, with services spanning from comprehensive financial planning to employee retirement plan strategies.”
According to LPL, River Cities’ five advisors each represent a different decade, ranging in age from mid-30s to early 70s. “We all bring unique experiences and differing views to the team to help ensure our clients’ financial needs will be taken care of now and for generations to come,” Anthony added.
LPL Financial provides service to approximately $1.13 trillion in brokerage and advisory assets as of September 30, 2021. The company supports more than 19,000 financial advisors, 800 institution-based investment programs, and 450 independent RIA firms nationwide.
