Former LPL CIO Joins Carson Group as Managing Partner and Chief Strategy Officer
Carson Group, a financial services firm that manages $20 billion in assets, has hired Burt White as managing partner and chief strategy officer.
Carson Group, a financial services firm that manages $20 billion in assets, has hired Burt White as managing partner and chief strategy officer to further its expansion efforts. He will also serve on the firm’s executive board.
White, who retired from LPL Financial last month, served as its managing director and chief investment officer for the past 14 years. Previously, he spent 10 years as managing director and director of research for Wachovia Securities.
Founded in 1983 by chief executive officer Ron Carson, Carson Group reportedly manages $20 billion in assets, serves more than 41,000 households, has 120 partner firms and more than 300 advisors. Carson spent 27 years with LPL before affiliating with Cetera Financial Group from January 2017 to January 2019, according to his BrokerCheck profile.
