Advisor Group’s Triad Advisors Hires Former LPL Exec as SVP of Business Development
Triad Advisors, a wealth management firm within the Advisor Group network, has hired Brian Shulstad as senior vice president of business development.
Triad Advisors, a wealth management firm within the Advisor Group network, has hired Brian Shulstad as senior vice president of business development.
Shulstad most recently served as a senior recruiting executive at LPL Financial, and in his new role at Triad, he will be responsible for recruiting and fostering relationships with financial professionals around the country. He will also work with financial professionals already affiliated with Triad to help drive inorganic growth through branch expansion and strategic acquisitions.
Before joining Triad, Shulstad served more than 12 years as vice president of business development at LPL Financial, providing recruiting growth in both the independent and hybrid registered investment adviser markets throughout the southeast United States. He previously held senior roles at A.G. Edwards & Sons and H&R Block Financial Advisors.
Shulstad holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia and holds FINRA Series 7, 9 and 10 licenses. At Triad, he reports to executive vice president and chief strategy officer Nate Stibbs.
