Two Reps with Focus on Alts Join IBN Financial
IBN Financial Services Inc., a New York-based broker-dealer and registered investment advisor, announced the addition of two advisers who focus on alternative investments for their clients, bringing to total headcount to nearly 100.
Kyle Kadish and John Doane, the new additions to IBN, both focus their practices specifically on private placements and tax mitigation.
With nearly 25 years of experience, John Doane remains based on the north shore of Boston. According to LinkedIn, Doane is a private equity specialist for Twin Lights Financial Services which is located in Hamilton, Massachusetts. Doane entered the industry with StoneGate Partners, before transitioning to Detwiler Fenton and AGES Financial Services Ltd. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 registrations.
“Registering with IBN allows me to continue working with investor clients in tax-efficient investments,” said Doane. “IBN’s platform provides access to high-caliber sponsors through Delaware statutory trusts and qualified opportunity zone funds, among other private placements.”
Based in Windham, New Hampshire, Kadish is president of Advantage Wealth Solutions. His financial services career has spanned asset management distribution, broker-dealer operations and direct work with accredited clients. According to LinkedIn, he has previously been a due diligence officer with IBN and Ages Financial Services.
“If you lifted our prior firm up and dropped it 280 miles west, it would be tough to tell the difference. Nearly every metric is nearly identical: headcount, investment offerings, and culture,” said Kadish. “Technology efficiencies through IBN allow consolidated reporting for clients with multiple illiquid investments, simplifying/enhancing the client experience.”
Kadish holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 66 and 79 registrations.
Founded in 1995, IBN Financial Services began as The Independent Broker Network, a branch of Leigh Baldwin & Co. Inc. In 1999, Rick Carlesco, along with several others, purchased a broker-dealer and formed IBN.
