WNC Completes 24-Unit Affordable Housing Community
WNC recently announced the completion of Heritage Townhomes, an affordable housing community in Cambridge, Minnesota.
Located at 1503 South Fern Street, the 24-unit property consists of six buildings. With one, two, and three bedroom floor plans, the community is made up of single story garden style and two story townhouse units.
“We couldn’t be more pleased to deliver an additional affordable housing option to the families of Cambridge,” commented WNC executive vice president and chief operating officer, Michael Gaber.
The affordable housing community features several amenities including an attached garage, driveway, a community gazebo, and children’s playground.
“Heritage Townhomes is well-located in the Cambridge community, situated less than one mile from three schools that provide families with education from kindergarten through 12th grade. The property is also within a short walk to a recreational park and a variety of trails at the nearby Wood Duck Preserve,” Gaber added.
The project was developed by MetroPlains LLC., while WNC provided $2.9 million in low-income housing tax credit to support the development.
WNC is a national real estate investor that specializes in affordable housing and has acquired over $6.5 billion in real estate assets.
