Job Description:

FactRight is the premier source of due diligence for wealth managers evaluating alternative investments. Our team consists of credentialed professionals with expertise in assessing investment sponsors and their offerings. FactRight simplifies complex investments for our broker-dealer and registered investment advisor clients, which allows them to make critical investment decisions. FactRight also hosts semi-annual due diligence conferences for more than 450 attendees, including more than 60 presenting and exhibit sponsor firms.

We are passionate about alternative investment due diligence and hosting top-tier events for professionals in the alternative investment space! We are seeking an experienced marketing and events manager to join our team.

 

Duties will include:

  • Manage and execute FactRight’s semi-annual due diligence conferences, through the following functions:
    • Oversee vendor engagements, including audio-visual, food and beverage, entertainment, transportation, promotional items, and local event management companies.
    • Ensure that event milestones and goals are met while adhering to the approved budget.
    • Lead onsite conference setup and logistics, ensuring the availability of equipment, supplies, vendors, and support staff.
    • Create and maintain conference website landing pages, invite lists, attendee communications, guidebooks, signs and banners, exhibit layout, and other promotional materials.
    • Coordinate sponsor attendee information, logistics, marketing materials, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
    • Manage attendee hotel list and travel through oversight of the Company’s travel agent.
  • Oversee the execution of the Company’s annual marketing plan, through the following functions:
    • Develop, recommend, and implement marketing communication projects including email communications, online advertising, social media, and creating brand awareness.
    • Ensure that marketing goals are met while adhering to the approved budget.
    • Compile, evaluate, and present quarterly marketing data, including blog, LinkedIn, due diligence portal subscribers, industry update communication engagement, and online advertising.
    • Organize, maintain, and create internal and client-facing marketing resources, including brochures, logos, data, online ads, photographs, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
    • Manage the Company’s LinkedIn communications, identify ways to increase presence, and track performance.
    • Oversee the Company’s SEO effort through the evaluation of third-party SEO reports, creation of internal SEO reports, communication of SEO opportunities, and performance monitoring.
    • Manage client webinar process and production on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Support business development through the management and maintenance of accurate data in the Company’s CRM system (HubSpot).
  • Deliver core administrative support to the Company and co-workers through the following functions:
    • Compile and send updates on new Company engagements and wealth management clients.
    • Maintain industry event calendar and register staff for industry events and conferences.
    • Answer and re-direct general inbound calls and emails.
    • Backup the Company Project Manager and Senior Accountant on administrative tasks including publishing due diligence reports to online portal, creating engagement letters, project logistics, etc.
  • Manage the Company website, through the following functions:
    • Update and maintain company website pages on an ad-hoc basis.
    • Identify opportunities to improve the Company website and mobile presentation.
    • Oversee user experience for the company due diligence report portal.
    • Coordinate and post regular analyst blog posts and industry news updates.
    • Proficiency with HubSpot and WordPress.

Qualifications:

  • College-level degree required (in marketing, communications, event management, business, or related field of study).
  • 5 to 10+ years of marketing, communications, event management, project management, administrative, or similar experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with or aptitude to learn the following apps: Hubspot, WordPress, Excel, Canva, Adobe, PowerPoint, LinkedIn, GoTo Webinar, etc.
  • An understanding of alternative investments or financial services is helpful, but not required.
