Walton Global, a real estate investment and land asset management company, announced the appointment of Katie Hubbard as senior vice president of Capital Markets.
Hubbard joined the Walton team in May 2023, and the company says she will play a pivotal role in working directly with registered investment advisors, broker-dealers, family offices and institutional investment companies across the country to provide insights into Walton’s investment offerings.
With a background in capital markets, Walton says Hubbard will contribute to the company’s growth and success. She previously served in various capital markets roles at Walton from 2008 to 2015, including executive vice president, National Accounts, where she played a role in capital raising efforts of over $500 million in land opportunities across the U.S.
Before returning to Walton, Hubbard spent four years at The Carson Group, a $22 billion Barron’s Hall of Fame RIA, where she served as the national sales manager. In this capacity, she managed a team while gaining experience in the wealth management industry. Additionally, Hubbard held the position of senior manager of Wealth Advisory at Empower, a $1 trillion AUA firm, where she successfully managed 40 retirement and wealth advisors.
Hubbard’s background also includes her tenure as vice president at BlackRock, where she was responsible for capital raising and providing guidance to independent advisors on portfolio construction.
“We are excited to welcome Katie Hubbard back to Walton Global as our new senior vice president of Capital Markets,” said Matt Keister, executive vice president of Walton Global. “Katie’s exceptional track record in the capital markets industry, and her extensive network of industry connections, makes her the perfect fit for this role. Her expertise will be instrumental in expanding Walton’s reach and informing the industry about our investment offerings, including our recently launched 1031 Exchange DST Growth offering and Builder Land Financing Fund – BLF Fund 2.”
Walton Global is a privately-owned land asset management and real estate investment company with $3.4 billion in assets under management.
