Urban Catalyst Funds Hires Director of National Sales
Urban Catalyst, a San Jose-based opportunity zone fund sponsor, has hired Pisoot Senethavilay as director of national sales to lead the company’s sales team.
Urban Catalyst, a San Jose-based opportunity zone fund sponsor, has hired 15-year industry veteran Pisoot Senethavilay as director of national sales to lead the company’s sales team.
Prior to joining Urban Catalyst, Senethavilay served as senior regional vice president and national sales manager at SC Distributors, where he was responsible for raising capital for various digital infrastructure funds. Prior to joining SC Distributors, he was director of capital markets for Ascendant Capital, where he was responsible for raising capital for various private equity and mutual funds throughout the West Coast.

Urban Catalyst is focused on ground-up development projects in downtown San Jose. The company’s first opportunity zone fund closed in December 2020 after raising $131 million to construct seven development projects. In February, it launched a second real estate fund, Urban Catalyst Opportunity Zone Fund II LLC, which seeks to raise $200 million by December 24, 2024.
