LPL Financial Recruits Former Blucora Team
LPL Financial LLC, the nation’s largest independent broker-dealer, has recruited financial advisor Ashley Dusek and the team at Benchmark Financial Services.
LPL Financial LLC, the nation’s largest independent broker-dealer, has added financial advisor Ashley Dusek and the team at Benchmark Financial Services to its broker-dealer, corporate registered investment advisor, and custodial platforms. They join from Avantax Investment Services, part of Blucora.
The Benchmark team serves approximately $150 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets and has aligned with existing LPL firm, Financial Advocates.
Based in Longview, Texas, the Benchmark team provides full-service wealth management and financial advice focused on tax implications. Dusek, managing partner, is joined by advisors John Cotten, Alan Goodman, Randy Monk and John Ussery, all who have backgrounds in accounting. The team serves local business owners, families and individuals.
LPL Financial provides service to approximately $958 billion in brokerage and advisory assets as of March 31, 2021. The company supports more than 17,000 financial advisors, 800 institution-based investment programs, and 450 independent RIA firms nationwide.
