Sr. Internal Wholesaler / Sales Desk Team Lead

Job Description:

The Senior Internal Wholesaler (AVP) is a “player-coach” role that has responsibility for managing Triton Pacific’s internal sales desk, as well as partnering with a Regional Vice President (RVP) to execute business strategies within an assigned territory, with a focus on acquiring new business and growing existing relationships. This position plays a key role by leading or supporting business development efforts with strategic financial advisor clients.

The position is located in Irvine, CA in Triton Pacific’s Home office (working remotely is not an option). Must have Internal Sales experience within the financial services industry, and FINRA Series 7 to apply. Applicants with FINRA Series 24 are preferred, but if not, must have ability to obtain within 90 days.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage Internal Sales Desk – manage team of internal wholesalers to promote the firm brand, the firm’s investment products, and all aspects of the internal sales desk activities.
  • Be responsible for sales completion as determined by sales goals and number of outbound/inbound sales activity
  • Maintain a minimum call volume each day and a targeted number of appointments on behalf of an allocated territory and the associated RVP
  • Serve as a point of contact regarding service and support Manage and maintain CRM (Salesforce) and help RVP maintain client profiles and an optimized travel schedule
  • Primarily motivated by sales success and meeting firm sales goals and targets with an emphasis on acquiring new business
  • Develop extensive working knowledge of Triton Pacific product offering(s)
  • Attend certain firm events such as conference calls, broker dealer events, due diligence events or other business initiatives sponsored by the firm

Qualifications:

  • Must have FINRA Series 7 to apply; Series 63 and 24 preferred (or aquire within 90 days).
  • Successful track record in developing and managing sales territory (Internal and / or External Wholesaling) within financial services industry
  • Experience of leading teams, or desire and potential to do so.
  • Ability to work successfully in an entrepreneur environment
  • Superior verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to use initiative and work independently while also being a team player
    Personable and possess the ability to communicate with all members of staff and clients

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Required: FINRA series 7. Preferred: Series 63 and 24 (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • Required: 2+ years of internal wholesaling within financial services industry
    Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM (Salesforce)
  • Exceptional communication skills; ability to communicate with internal and external business partners at all levels
  • Bachelor’s degree

Salary + Commission + Benefits:

  • Compensation is based on experience and industry standards.
  • Compensation: Base salary $100,000; variable compensation based on capital raised additional $40,000-$70,000 per year
