Independent Financial Group Hires SVP of National Sales and Marketing
Independent Financial Group LLC, an independent broker-dealer, has hired a senior vice president of national sales and marketing.
Independent Financial Group LLC, an independent broker-dealer, has hired Chad Cristo as senior vice president of national sales and marketing.
In his new role, Cristo will manage all product areas and sponsor relationships for mutual funds, insurance and annuities, advisory services, retirement plans, and alternative investments. He will also be responsible for the development of the firm’s advisor support offerings including practice management.
Prior to joining the firm, Cristo spent 29 years at Putnam Investments as managing director and west regional director where he was responsible for the management of a team of wirehouse, private bank, registered investment advisor, and independent channel sales professionals focused on the distribution of Putnam’s investments.
Cristo, a certified investment management analyst, holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University in international management and finance, as well as FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 63, and 65 securities licenses.
