Hines Hires Former Head Of Carlyle Private Wealth
Industry veteran Paul Ferraro was recently appointed by Hines as its head of global private wealth solutions.
Ferraro was previously the global head of private wealth at The Carlyle Group and was an integral part of its business since 2011. During his tenure, Carlyle expanded its global private wealth capital to over $50 billion, accounting for approximately 13% of the firm’s assets under management. He also played a role in growing the company’s distribution reach across the Americas, Europe and Asia.
“We believe that as allocations to the private wealth space are expected to enter the trillions and investors achieve easier access to these products, Hines is well-positioned due to our brand and track record. Paul’s exceptional success in leading global private wealth platforms and raising significant capital from this space will propel Hines’ expansion of investment solutions and partnerships,” said David Steinbach, global chief investment officer.
As a global real estate investment, development and property manager, Hines has offered investors various private wealth investment vehicles over the past 20 years. Ferraro’s appointment, said Hines, underscores the firm’s dedication to investors and confidence in this growing sector.
In his new capacity as a senior member of the Hines leadership team, Ferraro is contributing to Hines’ product strategy, driving global distribution and nurturing relationships within the private wealth management sector.
Hines was founded in 1957 and now operates in 30 countries. It manages a $94.6 billion portfolio of high-performing assets across residential, logistics, retail, office, and mixed-use strategies. It is committed to a net zero carbon target by 2040 without buying offsets.
