Go Store It Opens 800+ Unit Storage Facility in Former Savannah Grocery Store

Go Store It Self Storage, a subsidiary of Madison Capital Group, announced the completion of its latest self-storage property in Savannah, Ga.

The newly opened facility – one property within the Madison Retail Box Conversion REIT portfolio – located at 1110 Fulton Road in Savannah Place has just over 800 climate-controlled units and offers secure storage solutions to meet the needs of the fast-growing community. Spanning nearly 94,000 square feet, the Savannah location was a former grocery store.

“Go Store It is excited to revitalize this space with a modern, secure self-storage facility,” said Beau Agnello, chief operating officer of Go Store It Self Storage. “We’re confident that we’ve found a great location to meet the needs of our customers. It was a perfect fit to upgrade and convert the location to storage with climate-controlled units and secure access. Located near the Georgia Southern University Armstrong Campus and St. Joseph’s Hospital, Go Store It Savannah is situated within a highly populated area among key neighborhoods and institutions. It is in a high-traffic retail corridor with major retailers such as Target, Bass Pro Shops, and The Home Depot.

Based in Charlotte, N.C., Go Store It is an affiliate of Madison Capital Group and specializes in the acquisition, development, and management of self-storage assets throughout the United States. The company currently has more than 7.1 million square feet of storage space under management and construction spanning 17 states.
