Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT II Acquires Medical Facility for $6.25 Million
Non-traded Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT II, Inc. (CVMCR II) announced today it purchased the Winston-Salem North Carolina Integrated Medical Facility (IMF) property for just shy of $6.3 million.
Built in 2004, the Winston-Salem-based property offers several specialized treatment rooms such as four auditory booths and two procedure rooms allowing for on-site surgeries and medical procedures. At 22,200 square feet of net rentable space, the facility and tenant stand to benefit from its close proximity to two large hospitals and North Carolina’s Biotechnology Corridor.
Piedmont Ear, Nose & Throat Associates, PA (PENTA) leases 100% of the space.

Through September 30, 2014, CVMCR had raised just over $18 million in capital. It’s offering up to $2.35 billion in common stock during its initial public offering. SC Distributors, an affiliate of RCS Capital Corporation, acts as the dealer manager for the offering.
