Baker Tilly Hires Seasoned Asset Management Executive

Baker Tilly US LLP, a leading advisory CPA firm and sponsor of tax-advantaged real estate investments, hires Jaime Avery to lead its asset management team.

Baker Tilly US LLP, a leading advisory CPA firm and sponsor of tax-advantaged real estate investments, has added Jaime Avery to its real estate advisory team. In this role, Avery will lead Baker Tilly’s asset management team, with responsibility for maximizing asset performance and operating efficiency, as well as managing revenue growth. She will also assist in designing and implementing the leasing, sales, and disposition strategy for each asset, and overseeing stakeholder financial reporting and compliance.

Avery brings more than two decades of experience as an asset management professional to the position, with a focus on mixed-use/mixed-income, multifamily and single-family portfolio management, commercial real estate, property management, and community-based development. Avery also specializes in business operations, financial and risk analysis, and strategic planning.

Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Avery was with Dominium, Inc. where she led an asset management team responsible for more than $3 billion in assets under management, with more than 37,000 multifamily units in 18 states.

Avery earned a bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University and completed graduate studies at Arizona State University. She has earned certifications in mortgage banking and underwriting, asset management diagnostics and intervention, and situational leadership. Avery has also been recognized with a letter of commendation by the Arizona House of Representatives for her work in community and economic development.
