Advisory Firm with $1.1 Billion AUM Departs NPC for Advisor Group Affiliate

Strategic Partners, Inc., a Kansas-based advisory firm with more than $1.1 billion in client assets under management, has ended its affiliation with National Planning Corporation in favor of Royal Alliance Associates, a part of the Advisor Group Network.

They are the latest in a string of advisory firms to depart affiliates of National Planning Holdings, the parent company of NPC, following its recent merger with LPL Financial.

Since the start of 2017, more than 150 registered representatives have joined Royal Alliance and nearly 500 advisors have joined Advisor Group firms. Advisory Group is one of the nation’s largest networks of independent financial advisors, and its subsidiary Royal Alliance Associates is comprised of more than 1,800 advisors.

Strategic Partners, founded in 1994 in Parsons, Kansas by Chris Lubbers, offers holistic financial planning and investment advisory services, from business planning and personal finance strategies to insurance solutions. The firm is headquartered in Parsons, Kansas with 38 financial advisors in offices across the United States, including Indiana, Connecticut, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas, South Dakota, and Oklahoma.

The firm has more than 1,800 affiliated independent financial advisors and is headquartered in Jersey City.
