Ashford Hires Wholesaler for Southeast Region

Ashford Securities LLC, a distributor of alternative investment offerings, has hired Michael Kerrigan as regional vice president of sales for the Southeast region.

In this role, Ashford says he will work with broker-dealers and financial advisors to provide education, market knowledge and support for the company’s offerings.

Kerrigan has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a background in distribution sales and marketing.

“We are thrilled to add a person of Michael’s character and abilities to our sales team. He has a proven track record of success and a great reputation in the financial advisor community,” said Ben Hilgers, senior vice president, national sales manager of Ashford Securities.

Prior to joining Ashford, Michael was the regional vice president for the Southeast region at Gladstone Securities, distributing non-traded preferred investments for nearly two years. Previously, Michael was a regional vice president of sales with Sammons Retirement Solutions, Midland National and SC Distributors.

Kerrigan has a bachelor’s degree in business management and holds FINRA Series 7 and 65 registrations.
