MacKenzie Expands Sales Team

MacKenzie Capital Management has hired a new vice president of capital markets to oversee the sales and marketing of the company’s investment products in the Eastern United States.

MacKenzie Capital Management has hired Peter Roman to serve as vice president of capital markets to oversee the sales and marketing of the company’s investment products in the Eastern United States.

Roman has more than a decade of financial services experience, and prior to joining Mackenzie, held similar positions at Steadfast Companies and the Lightstone Group. While at Lightstone, he marketed non-traded real estate investment trusts in the Mid-Atlantic territory primarily through the independent financial advisor channel. Roman previously served as a retirement services district manager at ADP and as a regional marketing specialist at AIG SunAmerica.

Roman started his career in financial services as an internal wholesaler with Sun Life Financial after graduating from Pennsylvania State University’s Smeal College of Business in 2008.

Based in Orinda, California, MacKenzie Capital Management has specialized in the area of discounted real estate securities and asset management since its formation in 1982. The company serves as the external manager to MacKenzie Realty Capital, a publicly registered non-traded business development company.
