WealthForge Hires Director of Managing Broker-Dealer Services

WealthForge, a financial technology company that helps automate investments into alternative securities, has hired Michael Roman as director of managing broker-dealer services.

WealthForge, a financial technology company that helps automate investments into alternative securities, has hired Michael Roman as director of managing broker-dealer services.

In his new role, Roman is tasked with driving sales of WealthForge’s managing broker-dealer business, as well as expanding sponsor engagement on Altigo, WealthForge’s straight-through processing platform.

Roman has 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, specializing in the alternative investment sector. Previously, he served as the national sales manager at MBD Solutions LLC and has held positions at S2K, Megatel Capital Investments, Preferred Apartment Communities, and several others. Roman holds FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.

The Altigo platform currently supports a range of alternative investment products, such as 1031 exchange Delaware statutory trusts, non-traded real estate investment trusts, qualified opportunity zone funds, and business development companies. Since it was first announced nearly a year ago, the company claims that more than $100 million in transactions have been submitted through the platform.
