May 7th Seminar to Discuss Conservation Easements

Monthly columnist for The DI Wire, Don Deans of Deans Consulting, will speak at an upcoming seminar that’s focused on conservation easements, a strategy that could provide significant tax benefits to real property owners and income for investors in securitized offerings.

Deans wrote about the benefits and intricacies of conservation easements in December. To read that article, click here.

The event was organized by Walter Ernest, Director of Operations for Pelican Coast Conservancy, and will be hosted by Morris, Manning, and Martin, a full-service law firm, on May 7th at its offices in Atlanta, Georgia.

This is a one day event that’s a must attend for anyone interested in conservation easements. Topics covered include promoting land conversation, exploring the feasibility of easements, addressing appraisal issues, and turning an easement into a source of liquidity, among others.

Sponsoring companies include Atlantic Coast Capital, Asset Strategists, LLC, and Webb Creek Management, to name a few.

Space is limited and there is a fee to attend. Those that do attend are eligible for continuing education credits.
