LPL Financial Recruits Former Lincoln Financial Team

LPL Financial LLC, the nation’s largest independent broker-dealer, has recruited McLaughlin Asset Management Inc.

LPL Financial LLC, the nation’s largest independent broker-dealer, has recruited McLaughlin Asset Management Inc., which is aligned with Gladstone Wealth Partners, a large enterprise on LPL’s hybrid registered investment advisor platform.

The New Jersey-based McLaughlin team reportedly serves approximately $600 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets, and joins from Lincoln Financial Advisors.

Founded in 1991 by managing partner Michael McLaughlin, the team serves the high-net-worth market and specializes in working with professionals planning for retirement, women in transition, such as divorce or death of a spouse, and business owners planning for a liquidation event.

“For over 30 years, McLaughlin Asset Management has been committed to delivering thoughtful solutions that address an array of family, financial and lifestyle concerns,” McLaughlin said. “We play a vital role as the family [chief financial officer], counselor, confidant and friend all wrapped up into one. We are always striving to eliminate the things that keep our clients up at night…”

The team also includes partners Monica Lupinetti, wealth advisor, and Linda McLaughlin, practice management and operations. Other team members include Meaghan McLaughlin, senior wealth management associate; Kyle Macrina, wealth management associate; Danielle Deming, senior client service associate; and Veronica “Ronni” Yates, practice management associate.

According to LPL, over the past year, the McLaughlin team evaluated its service model and resources available and decided to begin to transition to an independent hybrid RIA model to “bring more flexibility to the company’s service offerings.”

LPL Financial provides service to approximately $1.13 trillion in brokerage and advisory assets as of September 30, 2021. The company supports more than 19,000 financial advisors, 800 institution-based investment programs, and 450 independent RIA firms nationwide.
