Lightstone Adds Three to Sales Force

Lightstone Capital Markets, the distribution arm for Lightstone, a national real estate developer and sponsor of non-traded REITs, has hired Kurt Gunderson, Patrick Hart, and Arthur Miller as vice presidents and regional wholesalers.

“Kurt’s, Patrick’s and Arthur’s track records of success when it comes to increasing market share will be a major asset to our team,” said Lightstone Capital Markets president, Kevin Hart. “We are excited for the opportunities they bring to the company as we reinforce our commitment to the success of our investment offerings.”

Gunderson, who will cover the Midwest region, previously served as vice president at Mutual of America in Minneapolis and was responsible for investment and retirement planning for senior executives and business owners across multiple offices in the Upper Midwest. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Dickenson State and his certified financial planner certification from the College of Financial Planning in Denver.

Hart joins Lightstone from Realty Capital Securities and will cover the Florida region. As regional vice president at RCS, he sold the firm’s non-traded REITs through the independent financial planner channel. Hart graduated from Penn State University.

Miller, who will cover the Northeast region at Lightstone, was a regional vice president at SQN Securities LLC, a company that specializes in underwriting services. At SQN, he was responsible for all sales and marketing for broker-dealers and registered investment advisors in the Northeast. He earned a bachelor’s degree from State University of New York Regents College at Stony Brook.

Headquartered in New York City, Lightstone’s $2 billion portfolio currently includes more than 6 million square feet of office, retail and industrial properties, 11,000 residential units, and 3,500 hotel keys. It also owns 12,000+ land lots across the country and has $2.5 billion worth of projects currently under development in the residential and hospitality sectors.
