IBN Financial Services Inc., a New York-based broker-dealer and registered investment advisor, announced that Kyle Kadish has assumed the role of due diligence officer.

IBN says Kadish will source and review investment offerings for registered reps and their clients. He assumes the role from Howard Modell, who remains licensed with the firm, will continue to work as an advisor with his investor client base.

“We are looking for compelling stories that allow our registered reps to differentiate themselves from other investment professionals,” Kadish said. “Diversification goes beyond asset class – we can enhance a client’s portfolio with security structure, liquidity and tax sensitivity.”

Kadish has been in the financial services industry for 18 years, beginning as an operations manager with UBS Financial Services. The bulk of his career has been spent raising capital with Natixis Global Asset Management and Provasi Capital Partners. He previously served as DDO for AGES Financial Services prior to assuming the role with IBN Financial.

He is currently president of Advantage Wealth Solutions, which became affiliated with IBN Financial last month, and was recently elected to the Alternative & Direct Investment Securities Association (ADISA) board of directors. IBN says his experience covers “every stakeholder group in the portfolio construction process.” Kadish holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 66 and 79 registrations.

Founded in 1995, IBN Financial Services began as The Independent Broker Network, a branch of Leigh Baldwin & Co. Inc. In 1999, Rick Carlesco, along with several others, purchased a broker-dealer and formed IBN.
