Go Store It Self-Storage, a leading self-storage provider and an affiliate of Madison Capital Group, has broken ground on a Class A self-storage facility in Franklin, Tennessee, a suburb of Nashville.

Expected to open in fall 2024, it will provide residents and businesses with over 1,000 climate-controlled and secure self-storage units across 109,000 square feet.

Under the Madison Capital Group and Go Store It umbrella, the project located at 2406 Goose Creek Bypass is a collaboration between general contractor BenCo Construction and architect Smith Gee Studio to deliver a state-of-the-art storage facility that “will benefit existing and future residents of Franklin.”

“Franklin is one of the fastest growing and most desirable suburbs of Nashville,” said Ben Walden, Go Store It, East Coast development partner. “It’s conveniently located off I-65 next to Berry Farms Town Center. It will be unmatched in terms of visibility and accessibility for our customers. We look forward to serving the Franklin community and adding another Nashville Metropolitan Area storage facility to our growing portfolio.”

Berry Farms Town Center is a master-planned mixed-use community with upscale residences, luxury retail space and top-of-market office buildings all within walking distance of one another.

Go Store It says the new location in Franklin will be Go Store It’s 9th property in Tennessee and within its portfolio when completed.

The company has developed and operates more than 100 projects in 15 states.

Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Go Store It is an affiliate of Madison Capital Group and specializes in the acquisition, development, and management of self-storage assets throughout the United States. As of June 30, 2023, the company has more than 6.5 million square feet of storage space under management and construction.
