Cambridge Investment Research, an independent financial solutions firm serving over 3,800 financial professionals across the country, announced that Greg Turner has joined the firm as senior vice president of consulting services and Dee Morgan has joined Cambridge as its newest senior vice president of strategic acquisitions.

In his new role, Cambridge says Turner will use his experience in wealth management leadership to drive Cambridge’s Consulting Services department. He will be heavily involved in the development, enhancement, and ongoing delivery of the department’s efforts, as measured by financial professional success and growth rates. He will also be responsible for the maturation of existing Cambridge Source offerings and development of new ones, as measured by total revenues and expenses of the combined programs.

Turner joins Cambridge with nearly 25 years of experience in wealth management. He has previously held leadership roles at Citizens National Bank and MidwestOne Bank/Financial Group, where he held multiple executive positions and served on several senior management committees. Turner graduated from Quincy University and holds certificates from the Colorado Graduate School of Banking, American Bankers Association, and the Cannon Trust School. He holds the FINRA Series 6, 7 and 63 licenses.

In his new role, the company says Morgan will work alongside other senior leaders to manage Cambridge’s corporate development activities, ranging from evaluation and execution of public and private company acquisitions, asset divestitures and restructurings, minority investments, and other strategic initiatives. He will also work closely with Cambridge executive team members to identify new business opportunities and develop long-term growth strategies.

“We’re excited to have Dee join us,” said Cambridge executive vice president and chief business development officer, Tammy Robbins. “Acquisitions are a critical part of growth and business development, and Dee’s wealth of experience in this industry and versatile skillset make him an immediate asset to our team. We’re pleased to have his knowledge, vision, and expertise in our corner as we look to build on our growth efforts now and in the future.”

Morgan joins Cambridge with more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and has worked in a wide variety of roles, including business development, management, consulting, recruiting, and marketing. He earned a Bachelor of Administration degree in finance from the University of North Texas.

Cambridge is a financial solutions firm focused on independent financial professionals and their clients. The firm offers a range of choices for independent financial professionals regarding solutions for advice, growth, technology and independence.
