Walton Global, a real estate investment and land asset management company, has announced the concluded sale of 17.6 acres of the 215-acre Winslow Park Master Plan.

The land is located in the City of Athens in Clarke County, Georgia, and was sold to Krause Auto Group, a collection of dealerships operating throughout Georgia, North Carolina, Florida and South Carolina.

“We had a great experience working with this business, and we’re excited to see them expand into such an opportune location, joining a number of existing dealerships in the neighborhood,” said Anthony Sparrow, executive vice president of Real Estate Walton Global. “Our team is highly experienced in land investment projects, and we are fully aware that Georgia is one of the fastest growing states in the nation. We’re dedicated to supporting these flourishing communities whenever we can.”

Within the greater Winslow Park Master Plan, 197 acres of land remain available, which has zoning for single family, multifamily and commercial use. The company says the parcel benefits from frontage along U.S. Route 78 (Atlanta Highway) in the Athens-Clarke County Metropolitan Statistical Area and sits approximately seven miles from Downtown Athens and the University of Georgia main campus. Additionally, the site is surrounded by a variety of options for restaurants, grocery and retail.

“The visibility from the Atlanta Highway is a huge advantage for this land, and we’re grateful we had the opportunity to partner with Krause Auto Group for this sale,” said Anthony Sparrow. “This parcel is fortunately established within an already bustling hub of activity. We’re looking forward to continuing development in the Winslow Park Master Plan.”
