Timbrel Capital, a firm that provides consultative, distribution, and managing broker-dealer services to alternative investment product sponsors, has added four wholesalers to its distribution team, including Vincent Centineo, Owen Mulvaney, Michael Kerrigan and Sam Kinzeler. All will join Timbrel as regional vice presidents.
Centineo, who will lead the firm’s central region, has more 30 years of financial services experience and spent the last 25 years as a distribution specialist catering to both the broker-dealer and RIA communities. Most recently, Centineo served as director of distribution with Gladstone Securities, where he helped distribute several Gladstone offerings to the market.
Mulvaney will lead the firm’s northeastern region. He has more than 18 years of retail alternative product experience, holding senior positions with organizations such as Northstar Securities, Select Capital Corporation, and Inland Securities Corporation.
Most recently, Mulvaney served as business development officer and wholesaler with Cookson Peirce Investment Management, where he was responsible for helping to develop new partnerships with corporate clients and financial distribution firms.
Kerrigan, who will lead the firm’s southeast territory, has worked in the alternative and insurance distribution space for more than a decade. Most recently, he was vice president of sales and business development with Calton & Associates, where he oversaw marketing and recruiting while also partnering with the firm’s independent advisors and RIAs. He previously worked with SC Distributors and Sammons Financial as an external wholesaler.
Kinzeler, leading the firm’s western territory, most recently served as a business development specialist with Havener Capital Partners, focusing on the RIA channel. He previously held sales positions with Northstar Securities and AXA.
The hires come on the heels of Timbrel’s recent announcement that it has entered into agreements to provide distribution for a series of non-traded preferred stock for Gladstone Land Corporation (Nasdaq: LAND) and Gladstone Commercial Corporation (Nasdaq: GOOD).
“We are pleased to welcome a team of seasoned industry veterans to the firm,” said Amanda Teeple, Timbrel managing director. “Their relationships and experience round out the Timbrel team for our distribution of the Gladstone LAND Series C Preferred and Gladstone GOOD Series F Preferred offerings.”
Timbrel Capital is an affiliate of SFA Holdings and serves as the distributor and national accounts manager for certain Gladstone offerings.
