Oil and Gas Sponsor Adds a Pair of New Sales Executives

Waveland Capital Partners, sponsor of oil and gas programs offered through independent broker dealers, has added Jamie Harmon, CFP and Chris Hines to their sales team. 

According to their LinkedIn profiles, Harmon connected with Waveland in December and Hines made the move this month. Harmon joins as a Senior Vice President, External Wholesaler covering the eastern United States, while Hines serves as Vice President of Account Management and Business Development Coordinator. 

The pair will not need much time to get acquainted with each other or the energy business. Harmon and Hines worked together for over five years at Ridgewood Securities, the wholesale broker dealer for another sponsor of oil and gas partnerships. 

Waveland, according to SEC Filings, currently has one offering available, Waveland Drilling Partners III-B, LP. 

In addition to oil and gas programs, the Irvine, California based Waveland provides access to special investment opportunities such as short-term bridge financings, distressed debt funds, and cash flowing operating businesses. 

It was not clear if the hiring’s are new positions or filling vacancies. Inquiries into Waveland were not immediately returned.
