Dust off your resumes! Job openings abound!

The Direct Investment industry prepares for 2014 and looks to fill over 20 different positions. There are external and internal wholesaling opportunities, a key accounts position, marketing positions, management, compliance, and educational openings.
Fresh off a record year in 2013 with the industry as a whole raising over $24 billion and no expectations of slowing down in 2014, firms are positioning themselves to benefit from this growth.
About 80% of the capital raise in 2013 came from non-traded REITs, but the hiring is across the industry. Franklin Square Capital Partners, a sponsor of non-traded BDC’s, is in accelerated growth mode. They are currently looking to fill several internal and external positions for both their Philadelphia and Orlando locations.
Oil and Gas sponsors are also preparing for a busy year. Atlas energy has four internal openings on their sales desk in Atlanta and Waveland Capital Partners just picked up two industry sales veterans.
With all the capital raising activity comes the need for more education.
