KBS Realty Advisors Promotes Hiep Diep to Senior Vice President
KBS Realty Advisors, a private equity real estate company and registered investment advisor, has promoted Hiep Diep to senior vice president of financing.
KBS Realty Advisors, a private equity real estate company and registered investment advisor, has promoted Hiep Diep to senior vice president of financing.
Diep joined KBS in 2013 as an assistant vice president, and in the past year, helped close 30 financing transactions totaling $3.25 billion. Among these transactions was the $1 billion KBS REIT III facility transaction, the single-largest financing facility in KBS history.
“Since joining the firm in 2013, Hiep has remained a key contributor to the financing team,” said Robert Durand, executive vice president of KBS Realty Advisors. “In his new role, we are confident he will continue to mentor and advise other members of the team, while maintaining KBS’ commitment to exceed investor and market expectations.”
Prior to joining KBS, Diep was a director for the Irvine Company where he oversaw underwriting and financial analytics for apartment development and sourced acquisition investment opportunities. He previously served as an associate director for HFF and a transaction analyst for Birtcher Anderson Realty.
Hiep received a bachelor’s degree in information and computer science from the University of California, Irvine, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.
KBS Realty Advisors and its affiliated companies have completed transactional activity of more than $35 billion via 16 separate accounts, six commingled funds, five sovereign wealth funds, and seven non-traded REITs.
