Commonwealth CEO Inducted into NAPW’s VIP Woman of the Year Circle

Commonwealth Capital Corp., an equipment leasing and financial services company, received news that chairman and chief executive officer Kimberly A. Springsteen-Abbott was honored as a 2015-2016 inductee into the National Association of Professional Women’s VIP Woman of the Year Circle.

The NAPW is a leading networking organization exclusively for professional women that has more than 700,000 members and in excess of 200 local chapters. 

Abbott-Springsteen has more than three decades of experience in the financial services industry, primarily focusing on the real estate, energy and leasing sectors of alternative investments. She serves as chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors of parent company Commonwealth Capital Corp., its affiliated broker-dealer Commonwealth Capital Securities Corp., and the company’s general partner Commonwealth Income & Growth Fund Inc. Abbott-Springsteen is responsible for the company’s corporate operations, business strategy, long-term growth strategy, broker-dealer relations development, product development and portfolio oversight. 

Prior to Commonwealth Capital Corp., Springsteen-Abbott spent 17 years with Wheat First Butcher Singer, a regional broker-dealer in Richmond, Virginia. She served as senior vice president and marketing manager for the alternative investments division.

Springsteen-Abbott is a member of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association, Financial Planners Association and the National Association of Equipment Leasing Brokers. She previously served on the board of directors of the Investment Program Association. Springsteen-Abbott holds Series 7, 63 and 39 FINRA licenses.
