Alternative Investment Exchange Provides Alts Technology to Colorado Broker-Dealer With $500 Million AUA

Leveraging its proprietary technology, Alternative Investment Exchange (AIX) began a partnership with Colorado Financial Service Corporation to automate alternative investing processes for CFSC and its advisers and clients.

CFSC, a nationally focused broker-dealer registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and a member firm of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, is a distributor of alternative investments with more than 18,000 clients and more than $500 million in assets under administration. Registered in all 50 states and headquartered in Centennial, Colo., CFSC is a full-service firm offering investment advisory, investment banking and insurance services, including Delaware statutory trust 1031 exchanges.

CFSC looks forward to advancing its capabilities and outcomes using AIX’s technology. “We’re excited to collaborate with AIX and believe their industry-leading technology will create an optimal investing experience for our reps and their clients, said Jack Thon, CFSC president.

The AIX platform functions as a workflow management solution with data populating forms and relevant systems automatically. This streamlines the investing process for advisers, clients, sponsors, custodial parties, home offices, and compliance.

AIX supports the full-capital alternatives life cycle including data rooms and electronic delivery of offering materials; all-digital transactions, from opening an account to subscriptions, transfers, redemptions, maintenance, and servicing; and post-trade account monitoring, including transaction history, statements, K1s and 1099s, fund communications, and consolidated reporting.

“CFSC is an ideal partner for AIX as a proven alternatives leader with an impressive portfolio, including 1031 exchanges, said Brad West, AIX chief operating officer.

As previously shared within The DI Wire-sponsored content, AIX announced similar partnerships with other alternatives-oriented firms recently, i.e., DAI Securities, Concorde Investment Services, Virtus Real Estate, and Hamilton Point Investments.

Alternative Investment Exchange is an end-to-end digital platform improving processes to buy, own, and sell alternative investments.
