Walton Global Acquires 124 Acres in North Carolina
Walton Global, a real estate investment and land asset management company, announced its new land acquisition of 124 acres in Gastonia, North Carolina.
Known as the “Tucker property,” Walton says the parcel is slated for single-family homes in a region with close proximity to Belmont and Charlotte.
The property is 11 minutes from Belmont, 20 minutes to Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, 30 minutes to Uptown Charlotte and within a 45-minute drive to most of the Charlotte MSA.
“The Tucker property is an opportune parcel given the growing housing demand in this area across first-time buyers and move up buyers,” said Barry Dluzen, executive vice president of Walton Global. “With the abundance of resources in the surrounding area, we believe Tucker will serve a thriving residential community for years to come once its developed.”
The property site location provides access to a variety of shops and restaurants in a historical downtown setting, employment centers and schools in Gaston County.
The Tucker property joins Walton Global’s eight additional assets throughout the state with three properties in Gaston County that are available including Willowside Grove, a 132-acre property, Dutchman’s Creek, a 619-acre property and Pinnacle Center, a 631-acre property.
The company says it is continuing to search for additional land acquisition opportunities throughout the state of North Carolina.
Walton Global is a privately-owned land asset management and real estate investment company with $3.4 billion in assets under management.
