StratCap Adds New Executive to Data Center Team
StratCap, a privately held alternative investment management platform, reported that its data center real estate division, StratCap Data Centers, has hired a senior vice president of acquisitions.
StratCap, a privately held alternative investment management platform, reported that its data center real estate division, StratCap Data Centers, has hired Jake Wagner as senior vice president of acquisitions.
In his newly created position, Wagner will implement the company’s growth strategy, procure new investment opportunities, assist with debt placement, and integrate new assets into its portfolio. He has more than nine years of experience in commercial real estate and capital markets with knowledge of the data center sector.
Before joining StratCap, Wagner spent more than seven years at JLL Capital Markets, Americas, most recently as director and member of the company’s data center capital markets group. Prior to that, he was a member of JLL’s corporate finance group where he focused on sale leaseback and build-to-suit transactions across various property types including data center, office, industrial and retail. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
