Madison Capital Markets Names Former Hines Vet to Helm Southeastern Sales

Madison Capital Markets, an affiliate of Madison Capital Group, has appointed Richard “Rick” Shearer as executive vice president to lead sales efforts throughout the Southeastern United States.

As a seasoned veteran with over 25 years of experience in the financial services and investment management industry, Rick brings a wealth of expertise to our team,” said Michael Crimmins, president of Madison Capital Markets.
Shearer will oversee strategic planning and relationship-building efforts in his new role. He will focus on expanding Madison Capital Markets’ relationships with broker-dealers and key representatives throughout the Southeast.
“[Shearer’s] strong relationships with broker-dealers and his proven track record of driving growth make him an invaluable addition,” added Crimmins.
Shearer’s experience includes roles at Hines Securities from 2012 to 2023, Symetra Financial in 2012, and Sun Life Financial from 2009 to 2011. He holds FINRA Series 6, 6TO, 7, 26, 63, and 65 licenses.
