Responsibilities

As an Associate – Investor Services with Hines, you will be part of the global Investor Services team, within the Hines Investment Management platform. You will be a key member of the team and provide sales support to the Hines Private Wealth Solutions (PWS) business. Working closely with the PWS internal and external sales teams, you will be responsible for providing expertise and resources related to the investment offerings and processes while supporting sales growth through financial intermediaries in the RIA, Wire/Bank, Broker-dealer, and Family Office/HNW channels. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively create and update investor-focused fund pitch books, client presentation decks, fact sheets, content thought pieces, case studies, and strategic investment sales emails
  • Closely partner with marketing, fund management, and operations teams to ensure alignment of messaging, positioning, and processes to support sales efforts
  • Engage the review process for client-facing materials with relevant stakeholders, including fund and portfolio management teams, Corporate Analytics, Compliance, and Regional Directors
  • Contribute to the compliance submission and approval process alongside Investor Marketing, including required revisions made by Hines Compliance, external counsel, FINRA, SEC, and state regulatory authorities in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the sales desk and leadership to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities, and tailor processes and tools to provide solutions accordingly
  • Support capital raising efforts by coordinating sales process optimization including sales technology rollouts, new products, and tactical content
  • Analyze sales performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop data-driven recommendations to enhance sales effectiveness
  • Demonstrate superior project management skills, liaising with individuals across the organization and adhering to deadlines, frequently managing multiple projects at one-time, all-in support of fundraising endeavors
  • Proactively bring new ideas to the Investor Services team, focusing on how to consistently deliver relevant, timely value-add content and processes to benefit our financial professional partners and investors
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and incorporate relevant insights into strategies and initiatives

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Five or more years of prior investor services, sales enablement, or marketing experience
  • Financial services, capital markets, and/or real estate experience required
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses, or willingness to obtain once hired
  • Evidence of high attention to detail
  • Proactive, can-do, problem solver attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently in a deadline-drive environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills, evidenced by a team player mindset
  • Advanced proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Willingness to quickly learn new software/technology platforms
  • Experience with sales support and lead generation technology solutions, including CRM systems, content management software, etc.; Salesforce and Seismic experience is a plus
  • Compensation: New York – $124,000 – $150,000; Houston – will be based on experience
