Grocery Center REIT II, Inc. Acquires Shopping Center for $12.4 Million
Phillips Edison Grocery Center REIT II, Inc. recently acquired the Willimantic Plaza, a grocery store-anchored shopping center in Willimantic, Connecticut for $12.4 million, exclusive of closing costs.
The plaza contains 128,766 square feet of rentable space on 14.12 acres and is currently 99% leased to 11 tenants.
Anchored by BJ’s Wholesale Club which occupies 68,160 square feet, the shopping center includes tenants such as Family Dollar, Sally Beauty Supply, Supercuts, and Subway.
As of February 3, 2015, the REIT’s portfolio consisted of 21 grocery-anchored shopping centers totaling 2.4 million square feet.
