Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT II Acquires Medical Clinic

Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT II, Inc. recently acquired a healthcare property for $3.8 million. Winter Haven Healthcare contains about 7,560 rentable square feet and is located in Winter Haven, Florida.

“The purchase of the Winter Haven Healthcare Facility is directly in line with our investment strategy to acquire high-quality healthcare real estate assets within key patient markets across the country,” commented Michael Seton, President and Chief Investment Officer, Carter Validus Advisors II, LLC, the REIT’s advisor.

Built in 2009, the medical clinic facility allows for the diagnosis and treatment of non-life threatening illnesses and injuries. The property comes equipped with a triage room, labs, an x-ray imaging center, offices, and eight exam rooms.

Central Polk, LLC leases 100% of the space and has plans to develop an MRI room in the facility’s unfinished space.

Seton added, “We are pleased to add a facility with a tenant of this caliber to Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT II’s growing portfolio of quality healthcare assets.”
