Greenbacker Declares New Quarterly Net Asset Value Per Share
Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company LLC has declared a fourth quarter net asset value per share for its shares of common stock.
Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company LLC, a publicly registered, non-traded limited liability company and manager of sustainable infrastructure investments, has declared a fourth quarter net asset value per share for its shares of common stock.
Shares were originally priced at $10.00 each with varying sales commissions and fees.
As of December 31, 2020, Class A and Class I shares had an NAV per share of $8.55, a decrease of $0.08 cents per share from the prior quarter’s valuations.
Class C shares were valued at $8.30 per share, a decrease of $0.08 cents per share compared to last quarter.
Class P-A shares had an NAV per share of $8.65, a decrease of $0.02 cents per share from the prior quarter’s valuation.
Class P-I shares had an NAV per share of $8.96, a decrease of $0.06 cents per share from the prior quarter’s valuation.
Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company acquires and manages renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, as well as other energy-related businesses. The company invests in solar and wind facilities, and then sells power under long-term contract to counterparties such as utilities, municipalities, and corporations.
In March 2019, Greenbacker closed its public offering of Class A, Class C and Class I shares, as well as its privately offered Class P-A shares. Currently the company privately offers Class P-I shares on a continuous basis. As of September 30, 2020, Greenbacker has made solar, wind, biomass, battery storage, and energy efficiency investments in 27 portfolios, 26 in the United States and one in Canada, as well as six secured loans in the United States.
