Wedbush Securities Names New Wealth Management Executives

Wedbush Securities has appointed Christopher Mone as the firm's new executive vice president and head of wealth management, while Jim Richards was appointed to the newly created role of director of operations in wealth management.

Wedbush Securities, an independent broker-dealer, has appointed Christopher Mone as the firm’s new executive vice president and head of wealth management. In his new role, he will be responsible for the leadership of Wedbush’s entire private wealth management service division.

Additionally, Jim Richards was appointed to the newly created role of director of operations in wealth management, where he will be responsible for the operations and administration of the private wealth management service division.

Mone has 25 years of experience in private wealth management and joins Wedbush from Wilmington Trust, where he served as president of U.S. Markets of Wilmington Trust Wealth Advisory. Prior to this he held management positions at BNY Melon Wealth Management, UBS Wealth Management, and Prudential Securities. Mone earned a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University and a juris doctor from Fordham University School of Law.

Richards has spent roughly 30 years at Wedbush and served as executive vice president and head of private client services and client financial services independent advisor group.
