W.P. Carey Adds to its Board of Directors
Global net-lease REIT and sponsor to non-traded REITs, W.P. Carey Inc., announced today that Mary M. “Meg” VanDeWegh has been elected to its board of directors.
CEO and President of financial management and consulting firm, Forte Consulting Inc., Ms. VanDeWeghe is also a professor at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. Previously, she was senior Vice President of Finance at Lockheed Martin Corporation and prior to that was managing director at J.P. Morgan.
Additionally, Ms. VanDeWegh has served as Director and member of the Audit and Finance Committees of Ecolab Inc. since its merger with Nalco Holding Company in 2011. Ecolab is a global leader in water, hygiene, and energy technologies and services.
From 2009 to 2011, Ms. VanDeWeghe served on the board of Nalco Holding Company, and since 2003 she has served on the board of Brown Advisory, Inc., a privately held investment management company.
Ms. VanDeWeghe is a graduate of Smith College and holds an MBA from Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business.
