U.S. Energy Names Director of Business Development

U.S. Energy Development Corporation, a sponsor of direct oil and natural gas investments, names director of business development for the Central region.

U.S. Energy Development Corporation, a sponsor of direct oil and natural gas investments, has promoted Duncan VanDurme to director of business development for the Central region.

VanDurme joined U.S. Energy Development Corporation in 2009 as a wholesaler for the Pacific region. In his new position, he will be responsible for educating and expanding business relationships with registered representatives, CPA’s, registered investment advisors, and clients in states that include Texas, Colorado, Wisconsin, Louisiana, Illinois and Minnesota.

The company said that, over the past 10 years, VanDurme has educated more than 4,000 advisors and their clients about oil and gas partnerships and their associated tax planning strategies, raising more than $405 million in investor capital. Prior to his employment with U.S. Energy, Duncan worked for a private wealth management firm where he assisted with the construction of financial plans.

Duncan earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Niagara University located in Niagara Falls, New York. He currently holds a FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.

U.S. Energy Development Corporation focuses oil and gas direct investments for clients with tax planning needs. Over the past 40 years, the company has deployed more than $1.4 billion on behalf of investor partners in tax advantaged offerings which include drilling funds, acquisition funds and 1031 exchanges.
