Team with $350 Million in Client Assets Returns to LPL Financial

LPL Financial LLC, the nation’s largest independent broker-dealer, announced that New Jersey-based Foran Financial Group has returned to the firm.

LPL Financial LLC, the nation’s largest independent broker-dealer, announced that New Jersey-based Foran Financial Group has returned to the firm. The team serves approximately $350 million in advisory and brokerage assets and joins from Raymond James Financial Services.

Foran Financial Group includes president and founder Dan Foran, and his children John Foran and Jessica Weaver, who joined the firm as financial advisors in 2010. Dan also serves as branch manager for financial advisors Brian Sweatt, Mark Walters and David Selden. The team is also supported by operations manager Jennifer Roberto and client service manager Diane Zychlinski.

The firm provides wealth planning, retirement planning and investment management services. John Foran is an accredited investment fiduciary who leads the team’s investment group. He obtained the chartered special needs consultant designation to help families with special needs children. Weaver, a certified divorce financial analyst, heads the women’s initiatives for the firm.

Seeking more freedom and flexibility in how they run their business, the team chose to return to LPL after six years with Raymond James. “We’ve been watching closely since Dan Arnold took over as president and CEO,” said Dan Foran, who was previously affiliated with LPL for 17 years until 2014.

LPL Financial provides service to approximately $903 billion in brokerage and advisory assets as of December 31, 2020. The company provides proprietary technology, clearing services, practice management programs and training, and independent research to 17,287 financial advisors.
