Strategic Wireless Infrastructure Funds Management, a private placement sponsor and the wireless infrastructure division of Strategic Capital Fund Management, has purchased two separate cell tower portfolios through its affiliate, SWI Funds Tower Holdings LLC. Financial information was not disclosed.

The portfolios are comprised of 19 cell towers and related assets that are located throughout Alabama, Florida and Georgia and are situated close to interstates, highways, major thoroughfares and/or densely populated metropolitan areas, the company said. Most of the towers are relatively newer construction and serve the “top-tier” wireless carriers, as well as two utility companies.

“We continue to execute on our vision of investing in, and aggregating, essential telecommunications infrastructure assets with high credit-quality tenants,” said Jerry Sullivan, chief executive officer of Strategic Wireless.

Strategic Wireless focuses on acquiring, building and managing telecom infrastructure assets that support broadband connectivity, and establishes partnerships with wireless carriers and independent operators and developers throughout the U.S.

The company sponsors Strategic Wireless Infrastructure Fund LLC, which according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, is a Regulation D fund structured as a 506(b) that seeks to raise up to $100 million.
