StepStone Private Wealth Adds Managing Director, RIA Relationship Management Execs
StepStone Private Wealth has hired two senior-level executives in marketing and registered investment adviser relationship management to support its continued growth. Berta Aldrich has been named managing director and global head of private wealth marketing and David Robbins has been named director of enterprise RIA relationship management.

In her newly created position, Aldrich will be responsible for marketing and brand strategy of the StepStone Private Wealth platform globally. She brings over three decades of experience with leading financial services companies. Prior to joining StepStone, she was president of an executive training and coaching consultancy, working with Fortune 100 executives in multiple industries across the globe. Prior to that, she served in C-suite and senior marketing executive roles including Private Advisor Group from 2019 to 2021, FS Investments from 2015 to 2017, and Vanguard from 2004 to 2015. Aldrich holds an MBA from St. Joseph’s University and earned her bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University.
Robbins will lead the education, onboarding, and servicing of RIA firms. Prior to joining StepStone, he was a senior vice president and national sales manager at Neuberger Berman from 2018 to 2024, covering RIAs and multifamily offices. While there, he was responsible for distribution of the firm’s private equity, private credit, ETF, directing indexing and mutual fund products, facilitating hundreds of new accounts and billions of dollars in new asset flows. Prior to Neuberger, he held distribution roles of increasing responsibility from 2011 to 2018 at Lord Abbett & Co and began his career as an internal wholesaler at John Hancock in 2005. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Babson College.

Over the summer, StepStone Private Wealth launched StepStone Private Credit Income Fund, an evergreen interval fund that can be purchased daily via ticker CRDEX.
According to StepStone, CRDEX offers individual investors and institutions exposure to a “highly diversified, open-architecture” portfolio of private credit assets in a single investment. It seeks to generate current income and long-term capital appreciation, mainly by investing in various credit-related strategies.
The launch of CRDEX complemented other StepStone investment strategies, according to the company, including StepStone Private Markets Fund and StepStone Private Infrastructure Fund, along with the StepStone Private Venture and Growth Fund.
