Gimeno has more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry, with in-depth knowledge of the capital markets, private wealth management, and securities business. He has built several high‐performing sales and national account teams, serving as head of U.S. distribution and national accounts within intermediary adviser channels for client relationships throughout the United States, Canada, and Latin America.
Gimeno has held senior executive appointments at AllianceBernstein Investments, ING North America, Principal Global Investors, and Raymond James Financial, and he was named one of “The 100 Most Influential” in the U.S. Defined Contribution industry by InvestmentWires in 2014.
He has served as co-moderator for Kasina’s Defined Contribution Investment Only Sales Executive Roundtable. Gimeno is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences and client forums. He has been a guest on CNBC, including the trading floor of The New York Stock Exchange.
Gimeno received his undergraduate degree in economics and international studies and Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami. Additionally, Gimeno earned an international business designation for his post-graduate work and was a member of the University of Miami’s honors program.
Gimeno currently holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses; a state of Florida Life, Accident, Health, Variable Life and Annuities license; and is an accredited investment fiduciary, or AIF.
