Smarsh, a compliance and regulatory technology firm for wealth management companies, has purchased Entreda, a provider of cybersecurity risk and compliance management software and services for the wealth management market.
Smarsh, a compliance and regulatory technology firm for wealth management companies, has purchased Entreda, a provider of cybersecurity risk and compliance management software and services for the wealth management market.
Entreda will continue to operate under its own brand as a stand-alone subsidiary of Smarsh, with co-founder and CEO Sid Yenamandra at the helm.
The acquisition enables Smarsh to provide cybersecurity risk and compliance capabilities to broker-dealers, registered investment advisors and banks.
Entreda serves 300 clients in the RIA and broker-dealer channels, including Advisor Group, a wealth management firm with more than 11,000 independent financial advisors.
Smarsh is headquartered in Portland, Oregon with nine offices worldwide, including locations in Silicon Valley, New York, London and Bangalore, India.
Founded in 2011 with offices in Santa Clara, California, Entreda is a provider of cybersecurity software, systems and training to the wealth management industry.
