Self Directed IRA Services Inc., an alternative investment custodian, has rebranded and changed its name to Strata Trust Company.
Strata adopted a new name, logo and brand identity, and also launched a redesigned website, www.StrataTrust.com. The firm will continue to serve investors looking to hold assets in real estate, private equity or debt, precious metals and more in their retirement portfolio.
“The rebrand is a logical step in our company’s strategic plan and it allows us the opportunity to offer other types of custody and administration services beyond self-directed IRAs,” said Strata president Kelli Click.
Strata’s new website features online account creation for individuals, as well as an API solution for investment platforms looking to streamline the account opening, funding and investment direction process for their investors. The website also includes e-signature, e-consent and secure bi-directional form delivery for investors.
With offices in Austin and Waco, Texas, Strata Trust Company is a national custodian for alternative assets and non-exchange traded investments in self-directed IRAs. Founded in 2008, the company serves more than 33,000 individuals nationwide with over $1.8 billion in assets under custody. As a subsidiary of Horizon Bank, SSB, Strata is a Texas-chartered trust company regulated by the Texas Department of Banking.
