SC Distributors Hires Michele Drummond and Others to Sales and Account Management Teams

SC Distributors LLC, a provider of select alternative investments to financial advisors and their clients, hired Michele Drummond as senior vice president of national and institutional accounts, along with three new regional vice presidents.

Drummond will help manage select broker-dealer accounts as well as key institutional relationships for SCD including Charles Schwab, TD Ameritrade, Fidelity and Pershing. She has more than 18 years of financial services experience and most recently served as vice president of relationship management at Cole Capital Corporation.

“Michele is a consummate professional and one of the most respected people in our industry,” said Jenniffer Daigle, executive vice president and director of national accounts for SCD. “She brings a wealth of experience and an extensive background in alternative investments to her new role and we’re delighted to have her join our account management team.”

SC Distributors also announced the hiring of three additional regional vice presidents covering the following newly created territories:

Patrick Kennavane will cover New England. He began his career with Wells Fargo Financial as a senior credit manager and more recently served as a regional vice president for W.P. Carey. His career also includes time spent at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.

Thomas Kubinsky will cover lower New York City. He has worked in the financial services industry for nearly 15 years and more recently served as a regional vice president covering the Northeast territory for Lightstone Capital Markets. Prior to Lightstone, he served in various roles at Select Capital Corporation, Knight Portfolio Access, UBS and PNC Global Investments.

Jim Hermes will cover South Texas. He began his career with Ameriprise as a financial advisor. He then spent five years with Hines Real Estate and also distributed BlueRock Real Estate products where he served as a regional vice president for Select Capital Corporation. In addition, he served as regional director of South Texas for Franklin Square.

SCD has brought on a total of 16 new external wholesalers, as well as 12 new internal wholesalers since December of 2015.
