SANDLAPPER Raises More Than $14,000 for Center for Developmental Services
Greenville, S.C. | April 13, 2015 – As part of their annual conference, SANDLAPPER Securities, LLC hosted CDS Night at the Greenville Road Warriors game on March 19th.
More than $14,000 was raised for the organization through a portion of ticket sales, the sale of autographed SANDLAPPER branded team jerseys worn during pre-game warm up, and direct donations made by employees, vendors and guests during the event. SANDLAPPER Securities once again kicked off the giving at the event with a $2,500 corporate donation to the organization, which it is has supported for several years.
CDS has been the beneficiary at three of the previous four SANDLAPPER conferences, which have raised approximately $21,500 for operating capital in addition to the corporate contributions used to kick off each conference fundraising campaign. SANDLAPPER also previously committed to a $50,000 pledge to CDS over five years. To date, between the pledge and direct contributions, SANDLAPPER has contributed more than $32,360 to the organization over the past four years. These dollars have gone directly to the organization’s unrestricted operating capital that has been used to help tens of thousands of children with physical and developmental needs for more than a decade.
